On November 04, 2019 Rondo succeeded in the next go-live with Aicomp’s industry solution “IS Packaging” in their corrugated board plant in St. Ruprecht in Austria.
Rondo Ganahl, a traditional Austrian packaging manufacturer, recently implemented Aicomp’s industry solution IS Packaging for Corrugated Packaging in St. Ruprecht (Austrian Styria) with an advanced setup.
This is the third successful rollout since the first in Frastanz in 2018. The project started in September 2018 with the fit-gap analysis.
Rondo relied on Aicomp’s experience and the reliability of its latest industry solution IS Packaging, including the product configuration framework VCPowerPack.
With the goal for replacing all existing ERP systems and most subsystems, and the standardization and harmonization of processes, master data as well as roles and responsibilities, a green-field approach was adopted for the implementation of SAP® S/4HANA.
Beside the connection to Kiwiplan’s MES and Minda’s floor conveyor system, new functionality for the plant in St. Ruprecht was the integration of digital printing, offset printing and direct offset printing on fine flutes.
Furthermore, Rondo uses Aicomp’s “Tooling Cockpit” to streamline and control the entire tool lifecycle of tools and clichés. It will be rolled back to Frastanz in Q1 2020.
