Mayer-Kuvert-network successfully completes the SAP S/4HANA Conversion and receives the “SAP Quality Award”
Aicomp supported its customer Mayer-Kuvert-network GmbH in the project to convert the system landscape from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA 1809.
In addition to fast system conversion, the focus of the project was on maintaining the industry-specific process mapping, which Aicomp had already implemented in the existing system landscape in conjunction with its SAP add-on “VCPowerPack” for product configuration and calculation.
All developments of VCPowerPack and the implemented industry solution “IS Packaging” had to be completely transferred into the new system by code adjustments.
In successful teamwork with a partner for the SAP standard modules, the quality of the process and data adaptation was guaranteed in every project phase. This created the conditions for a smooth go-live in just 8 months.

With increasing demands on processes, structures and the IT landscape itself, we also need new technology for our digitization strategy in the Mayer Group,” says Elena Krause, Managing Director of mayer-digital GmbH & Co. For this, the largest company in the envelope industry in Europe relies on SAP S/4HANA as its digital core and lays the foundations for new innovation projects. “We are therefore optimistic about the further development of existing processes and new services for our customers,” says Elena Krause.
Mayer-Kuvert-network received this year’s SAP Quality Award in the category “Fast Delivery” for its fast and successful conversion. The renowned award honors customers who have distinguished themselves in the implementation of their SAP software solutions using specific quality principles. For the evaluation of an implemented project, it is crucial that the successful implementation was carried out in compliance with the time and financial project planning and that significant business advantages for a company were achieved.
